Ken Skates AM, secretary of economy and infrastructure, will deliver a keynote speech at the CBI North Wales annual dinner.

Only a handful of tickets remain for the evening on Thursday 10 May at the St David’s Park Hotel in Ewloe

He has represented Clwyd South in the Welsh Government since 2011, and previously served as deputy minister for Skills and Technology.

The Wrexham-born assembly member is responsible for major projects in Wales, including improvements to the A55/A494 dual carriageway and the Wylfa Newydd Power Station.

Parliamentary under secretary of state for Wales Stuart Andrew MP will also speak at the event. Originally from Anglesey, he is a Westminster-based politician representing the Pudsey constituency in parliament.

Elected in 2010, he works with Secretary of State for Wales Alun Cairns, who heads the UK Government department responsible for Welsh affairs.

An important event in the region’s calendar, this year’s CBI dinner is set to bring together more than 160 business leaders and politicians.
